Bible Shorts- Jude pt. 2

Starting the Christian life with passion is one thing. Finishing it faithfully is another. The closing verses of the Book of Jude offer both a clear warning and a deep comfort for every believer who wants to run their race all the way to the end. False teachers were predicted by Jesus and the apostles, and their presence should confirm our faith rather than shake it. Jude calls believers to build one another up in Scripture, pray with genuine dependence on the Holy Spirit, and live with the return of Christ in view. When others around us waver or fall, their failure is not a reason for us to abandon our own faithfulness. The anchor of it all is found in Jude 24: God is able to keep us from falling, and He will bring us into His presence with great joy, not because of our strength, but because of everything Christ has already done.
