Cornerstone on the Go
What does it mean to cast all our cares on Him?
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Many Christians feel guilty for repeatedly praying about the same problems, wondering if their faith is weak. Jesus' parable in Luke 11:5-13 about a man seeking bread at midnight teaches us that persistent prayer isn't a sign of weak faith, but of knowing where to go with our needs. The man demonstrated shameless persistence, and his neighbor eventually provided what was needed. Jesus encourages us to keep asking, seeking, and knocking, showing that God is not a reluctant neighbor but a loving Father who gives good gifts. Trust is about direction, not duration - when anxiety returns, we demonstrate faith by consistently taking our burdens back to God rather than trying to handle them ourselves.
