The King That Delivers

We all face battles with forces that seem beyond our control - addiction, unforgiveness, broken relationships, or destructive patterns. In Matthew 8:28-34, Jesus encounters two demon-possessed men living in complete hopelessness and isolation. When the demons met Jesus, they immediately recognized His authority and were forced to bow before Him, demonstrating that nothing can stand against our King. God has always been a deliverer throughout Scripture, from Noah to Daniel to Paul, and He delivers us not just from something, but for something - to share our testimony and help others find hope. The greatest deliverance available is from sin itself through faith in Christ's sacrifice on the cross.
