Cornerstone on the Go

Jesus, the Miracle Worker

Thomas Cruthis

We often hear the word “miracle” tossed around lightly to describe something unlikely or surprising.  But if everything unusual is a “miracle,” then nothing is. The Bible has a higher and holier view of miracles: they are not lucky breaks, emotional surprises, or unexpected wins. But if a miracle isn't any of these things, what are they? I'm glad you asked.

This episode explores the following questions:

  1. What is a miracle?
  2. Why did Jesus perform miracles, and is there any extra-biblical evidence for them?
  3. Do miracles still happen today, and should Christians seek them?
