Built Different

Jesus concludes the Sermon on the Mount with a powerful parable about two builders - one who built on rock and one who built on sand. While both heard Jesus' teachings and faced the same storms, only the house with a solid foundation remained standing. This illustrates the critical difference between merely knowing God's Word and actually applying it in our lives. Many today build their lives on unstable foundations like cheap grace, false gospels, or worldly philosophies, but these will all fail when life's storms hit. Being 'built different' means standing firm through obedience to Christ's teachings, which is the only foundation that will withstand both life's challenges and the final judgment.
